The VT70E crawl space basement dehumidifier is efficient and cost-effective. It removes 70 PPD of water when the temperature is 80°F and the relative humidity is 60%, and reaches 145 PPD @90°F/90%RH. It uses R32 refrigerant, which is eco-friendly. The air volume reaches 220 CFM. It can automatically change the wind speed. It has a sponge filter screen that effectively traps fine particles and debris, improving the overall air quality of your home. Defrost Function
When the VT70E crawl space dehumidifier operates in a lower ambient temperature, the system will automatically sense whether there is frost inside the machine. If there is a frost, it will defrost automatically.
Filter Cleaning Reminder Function
When the cumulative running time of the dehumidifier reaches 30 days, the filter cleaning icon will flash to remind the user. Even if you restart the machine, it cannot cancel this reminder. Clean or replace the filter according to the cleaning method described in the next part. Then the reminder will stop.
Temperature Protection Function
When the ambient temperature is greater than or equal to 45℃, the system will trigger the high-temperature protection, which is that the compressor stops working, the fan operates as usual, and he temperature display area on the panel shows "HH". When the temperature reduces to 42℃ or less, the system will quit high-temperature protection, then the dehumidifier returns to normal.
When the ambient temperature is less than or equal to 3℃, the system will get into the low-temperature protection, which means the compressor stops working, the fan operates as usual, and the control panel shows "LL". When the temperature increases to 5℃ or more, the system will shut off the low-temperature protection, then the dehumidifier returns to normal.
Memory Function
The memory function is enabled when failures occur, such as unexpected power off. It not only saves users’ settings such as humidity, running time, wind speed level, temperature scale, and other function settings, but also keeps the "On/Off" state before power failure. After power is restored, the dehumidifier automatically works in the previous state. If in the “On” state before failure, it will turn on automatically. If in the “Off” state, it will remain off.

1. Unplug the power cord
Before maintaining and cleaning the dehumidifier, you need to unplug the machine to avoid an electric shock.
2. Use a soft and damp cloth to wipe the dehumidifier body
Do not use cleaners, scrubbing wire, chemically treated dust cloth, gasoline, benzene, diluents, or other solvents to clean the machine.
3. Clean or replace the filter screen
The VT70E dehumidifier has a washable filter that can block most airborne dirt such as dust, smoke, animal dander, mold spores, and pollen. It is recommended to check the filter screen regularly and clean it at least once a month.
1)Remove the filter screen.
2)Use a vacuum or brush to remove the dirt.
3)If the filter screen is very dirty, rinse it with warm water and a mild detergent and dry it thoroughly. Do not let the sun shine directly on it or use other heat-emitting equipment to dry it, as this will deform the filter's frame.
4)Install the filter screen back.
5)If the filter screen is too dirty to be cleaned, please purchase a new filter screen to replace it.
4. Check the operation status after cleaning
If the dehumidifier fails, please first refer to the "Common Troubleshooting" instructions. If the manual cannot help you out, please contact the dehumidifier manufacturer. Do not repair or disassemble the machine when you do not know what problem it has. Improper maintenance may endanger safety.
