Environmental protection design and application of refrigerant
According to the stipulations of the Montreal Protocol: The specific Freon (CFC) that destroys the ozone layer and harms the earth’s environment was banned worldwide before 2000. After the continuous efforts of the scientific community, the extremely environmentally friendly and energy-saving design of the refrigeration system using HFC 134a, a new 100% CFC-free refrigerant, has been applied to dehumidifiers. In the “environmental and healthy” consumption trend, the dehumidification of CFC R22 refrigerant. The maintenance of the machine in the future will bring certain difficulties.
The heat exchanger of the dehumidifier
The heat exchanger is the key component of the dehumidifier, which is related to the performance and efficiency of the machine. There are two types of heat exchangers, single-row and finned (as shown in the figure). The fin type has better performance, higher efficiency and longer life than the single row type, but the cost is more expensive.
The single-row heat exchanger is made of aluminum tubes, the aluminum tubes are exposed, and the water droplets cannot stay on the aluminum tubes, and will soon drip into the water tank, so it is easy to cause the illusion of “fast water output and good dehumidification” when the machine is turned on. Running, the dripping stopped quickly.
The finned heat exchanger is made of aluminum sheets arranged and connected by copper tubes. The contact surface of the aluminum sheets is large, and the water droplets will start to drip after the aluminum sheets are covered. Therefore, it is easy to cause “slow water output. Poor dehumidification” when it is just turned on. Illusion, but after downtime, dripping still persists for a while.
Industrial and household dehumidifier applications
A and B type design and operating temperature of dehumidifier
The operating environment of the industrial dehumidifier with type A design is in the range of 15°C to 35°C, and the operating environment of the dehumidifier with type B design is in the range of 5°C to 38°C. The dehumidifier of type A design is frosted on the heat exchanger when the ambient temperature is lower than 15 ℃, and the compressor stops running and cannot be used. The B-type dehumidifier is equipped with an automatic defrosting device, so it can automatically remove the frost on the heat exchanger when the ambient temperature reaches 5°C to 15°C, so that the machine can be used in a humid and cold environment.
Automatic defrosting device of dehumidifier
There are two types of automatic defrosting devices for dehumidifiers: computer control and mechanical control:
A. Computer-controlled automatic defrosting device: using advanced computer-controlled technology. Accurately sense the defrosting temperature to ensure that the machine can still operate normally and dehumidify in an environment as low as 5°C. It is the most advanced and reliable automatic defrosting device, which enables the dehumidifier to have the ability to work “all-weather”.
B. Mechanical temperature control defrosting device: The temperature controller using metal memory chip cannot accurately control the defrosting temperature, so the defrosting performance is not stable enough. It often occurs that some machines can operate normally at about 8 °C, and some However, the frosting stops at about 13 ℃, so this defrosting device is not very accurate and reliable.
Remarks: Some A-type dehumidifiers install relays on the machine, stop the compressor regularly (the electric fan keeps running continuously) and wait for the frost on the heat exchanger to melt before starting to run. This so-called “timed defrosting” “It’s not actually an automatic defrost, it’s just a timer switch.
Air conditioners should not be used in place of dehumidifiers
The main functions of an air conditioner are cooling and heating. An air conditioner with an independent dehumidification function can dehumidify, but the amount of dehumidification is small. Slow dehumidification. In addition, since the air conditioner is fixedly installed, it can only dehumidify in a small area. More importantly, when the air conditioner is dehumidified independently, it needs to increase the load several times, which not only consumes a lot of electricity , it also damages the compressor and shortens the life of the machine, so the air conditioner should not be used in place of the dehumidifier.
